Cards with ribbon

Today's WTI challenge - Let's heat it up. I chose to use hot colours for a birthday card - as I need quite a few for August, though it would work well for autumn too I suppose! Can't believe how many ribbon ends I have .... I put a strip of double sided tape across the card front and stuck the ribbons on it. After accumulating a huge number of small scraps of ribbon, I decided to use a bunch on some easy cards. I believe this idea first came to me from the Hero Arts catalog...it's a technique the folks at Hero Arts use frequently. I adore their catalog as it's full of fun ideas like this.
