It’s super fun for toddlers to join in too, plus I just love that it’s an easy way to dye rice for sensory play.  This rice also lasts for years so just store it in a ziploc bag and you’re good to go. To set the color, add a tsp of vinegar to your rice first, then add the food coloring and egg!
