Swipe along to see ➡️ To get the line for the dado rail on the stairs we put wall tacks at the bottom and top of the stairs, the height we wanted the dado rail 1000mm from the floor. Then we got a piece of string, coloured it one side with blue chalk, held the string tight on top of the tacks, (chalk side facing the wall with one person holding it at the bottom of the stairs and one person at the top. You’ll then have a straight chalk line all the way down the stairs wall to attach the dado to. Very hi-tech hey?! 🤣 It would be much easier with a laser level but we don’t have one! For the angles of the dado rail and the moulding for the panelling I’d really recommend get Dado Rail Stairs, Hallway With Dado Rail, Hallway Dado Rail, Hall Stairs And Landing Panelling, Dado Rail Hallway, Stair Panelling, Hallway Panelling, Wallpaper Hallway, Stair Paneling
