This project presents a direct and fresh approach to making slab-built plates, become great canvases for surface decoration.

A beautiful ceramic entree plate with a white matte glaze and raw terracotta clay edge. The clay is rolled using a slab-roller and then each piece is hand-built using no pottery wheels or moulds. Simple and textural, they add a natural touch to a range of table settings. Sits nicely with the ceramic dinner plate or use on its own for serving toast, fruit or a light lunch.
