Zach and Lina aren’t very traditional people. "However, we knew we wanted to incorporate our Vietnamese culture into our wedding. We had a traditional tea ceremony the day before for all of our closest friends and family. I wore the same ao dai my mom wore on her wedding and it just all felt so special. It was such an emotional day for us! Having this intimate ceremony was kind of a way for us to acknowledge our elders and let them know that we haven’t forgotten where we came from!"

These arrangements are minimal, but are also intricate and sophisticated. They add just the right amount of detail and depth. Add one on each cocktail table/bar/welcome table or cluster a few together for guest tables/cake table/sweetheart table. Ikebana arrangements are intentionally designed and they require a lot of attention to details. So here are my top 5 tips on how to design ikebanas. 1. Start with the largest blooms Large blooms takes up the most space so you want to start with them to establish what space you have left and where you need to balance out the heaviness of the larger blooms. 2. Embrace curves and unique lines Curves are beautiful, but can be difficult. You can pin the stems at an angle if the stems bend too much, cut the blooms shorter and pin it low or embrace it to add in some interesting lines and movements. *some blooms like ranunculuses can be wired so that’s also an option if it cur Ikebana Wedding Centerpieces, Ikebana Arrangements, Socal Wedding, Embrace It, Design Movements, Floral Designer, Long Table, How To Design, Wedding Floral
