This summer we found a school of tadpoles in an old fountain at our local park. It was a beautiful illustration of natural life. There were easily hundreds of babies swimming around at all stages of life. As a fun summer project we decided to take a pair home to observe. My boyfriend, being overly cautious and worried for the little ones decided to research a stable environment for tadpoles.

classroom tank habitat for tadpoles/ frogs/ bugs, etc. I had a teacher who allowed us to catch and bring in whatever we wanted to put her classroom tank. We would stop class to watch a butterfly emerge from its cocoon. We got to observed caterpillars spin cocoons and become butterflies, frogs swim and eat insects, and the way the wildlife interacted. We learned so much and I never forgot it!
