Concept car atrium at the Chrysler Museum

Visit to the Walter Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills, Michigan on May 29, 2013 with my flickr contacts Granttt73 and ROGERIO MACHADO. Although the museum is now closed as a daily public venue, Rogerio was able to arrange a visit for us through his connections with Fiat in Brazil. The museum's central atrium is a bright and lofty space with four modern and one historic Chrysler concept cars displayed. The central column with three display platforms rotates slowly.

Metropolitan Railway 1st Class carriage No. 353 built 1892 by Weston, Clevedon and Portishead Carriage. MET No 7. 1906 sold to another railway. After further service, in 1940, GWR sent it out for scrapping or sale. The wooden body ended up as a shed on a farm. The 'shed' owner sold it to London Transport Museum in 1974.
