Pin by Dave and Tracie Hansford on Tatts i love | Welsh tattoo, Love tattoos, Welsh love spoons

Left inner arm, welsh lovespoon tattoo. Traditionally men used to carve/give lovespoons to those they loved/wished to court & each bit of the spoon symbolised something different. On my tattoo the meanings are as follows: Daffodils: symbolise Wales Twisted Stems: to live & become as one/togetherness Infinity Loop: eternal love/forever Lock: Security/I will look after you I got this to represent how I may not live in Wales anymore but it will always be securely in my heart!
