To my past self. I would tell him. I can’t say the heartbreaks with such & such is going to be worth it but the lesson you’ll learn, please apply it. I know your heart forgives, just don’t be blind and in time things will work out. And as for the situation your father placed you in, forgive him. He means well, work with him. We lose loved ones every day, so don’t wait too long to say what you need to say.

To my future self. I would tell him. I’m thinking about you, so everything I do today & forward is so that you can smile more & live a better life. Hope you found whatever it is you’re looking for. Hope you wrote that book. Hope you & your father are on better terms. See you in a bit.
