Easily one of the best Final Fantasy games. The Job System offers a lot of gameplay flexibility, all the new jobs introduced in FF5 are incredibly unique and fit right in with the series as a whole. Furthermore the story is incredibly heartfelt and has some shockingly meaningful character moments (Faris' story and how the party come to accept her hits especially hard for me). If you let yourself get invested in Final Fantasy V's world, you'll be treated to one of the nicest and most welcoming stories in the series, one that offers all of the good and bad of humanity. While it does have some flaws in terms of how late you unlock specific jobs, some fights having archaic design, and how with retrospect you can simply do so much more with the concept of FFV's job system, in many ways Final Fantasy V is unparalleled and fun to return to even 30 years after it's release.
