What an amazing sequel to an already perfect game. The atmosphere and characters here are some of the best I have ever seen in gaming history and that is only complimentary to the themes that this game presents. The story of the Hero of Time is so beautiful and this game starts that unfortunate tragedy. This in my opinion only further cements the Nintendo 64 Zelda titles as the best in the series!

This game proves that Blizzard Entertainment is probably the worst studio in gaming history. This is more or less just a copy paste from the first game with no price tag and five players per team instead of six. The story mode was cancelled and instead was replaced with terribly easy missions that had an abysmal release schedule. It's a shame that it turned out this way, but hopefully the fact that Blizzard had to be bought out to stay alive is a wake-up call.

While the story may seem choppy in some places, I was personally on the edge of my seat throughout the entire game. The gameplay mechanics, suit customization, random side missions, and new transportation methods are all a huge step up from the first game. The boss fights as well were a key highlight of much of the game, but there is one issue with some of them that I have. That issue is that some of them are way too long with not enough differences between the phases. Sometimes I found myself, especially on the second-to-last major boss fight, dreading the thought of another phase because of how boring and irritating it was. And then the best boss fight of them all becomes so anticlimactic because of how easy it is and only has two phases. In my opinion, it's better than the first, but there were times where they tried shoving too much into the player's face!
