Videogamer (derogatory). I usually really enjoy games, even the "bad ones". My star rating system goes something like this.
½ - Only games that are here I cannot recommend
★ - There is still something good for someone, maybe
★½ - Most likely fans of genre or the series will enjoy this game
★★ - Flawed but enjoyable
★★½ - Good game!
★★★ - Anything with 3 ★ I can recommend to someone
★★★½ - I really enjoyed this one!
★★★★ - Easy recommendation and great game
★★★★½ - Games that have 4½★ are perfect games but
★★★★★ - My favourites and genre defining games
If I review the game with just "Just play it." I mean that. Don't look up anything on it, just get it and start playing.
My written reviews are more of an vibe check than review, since I am too lazy to write ten paragraph long reviews since someone has already done it. So I keep it simple and maybe compare it to another game to make it easier to understand what I am talking about.

Sega Master System RPG in modern date.
This games emulates the feeling of early console RPG's like YS for the Sega Master System. It does that well, and maybe too well. The core gameplay is really simple, you have two stances, either defensive or offensive stance. Defensive stance increases your defense but decreases the time your attack power charges. Then you have the main combat loop, the rock-paper-scissor. You have three different attack types, slash, stab and bash. Every enemy is vulnerable to one of the mentioned attack type. Then the unique twist to the core loop is the transformation system. When you kill the enemy, you turn to the enemy itself. This locks the attack type and it might give you new form of movement, like bat can fly over the terrain and fit on small places where as golem is slow and can only move on the ground.
That is the main gameplay loop. Now you just go and grind and boy do you grind. The game is short and sweet, but the most of the time is spent on grinding. When you die you lose some of the XP progress you had and you die so easily in this game. You will die with either one or two hits almost through out the game, until you have found some upgrades. So grind, grind and grind.
Can I recommend the game? Yes and no. Yes if you like old school rpg's and are okay with the frustration that comes with it. It is novelty game.

The fucking TV room.
Yuppie Psycho is a unique blend of corporate satire and survival horror, wrapped in a pixel art style that effectively builds an eerie atmosphere without relying on cheap scares. The gameplay combines intuitive point-and-click mechanics with light survival elements. While some combat sections, like the mines, can be frustrating, the exploration and puzzle-solving aspects make up for it. The damage output from enemies and other sources is by far most annoying thing and only proper negative aspect of the game.
The game's world is rich with layered storytelling and ambiguous elements that invite players to piece together the narrative themselves. The characters have a strange charm, and the oppressive corporate setting adds depth to the experience.
If you're into weird, artsy horror games with a touch of dark humor, Yuppie Psycho is definitely worth a playthrough.

This is STALKER 2 lite.
It is not perfect by any means and there are some game design choices I didn't like. But I liked the map and quest system AND lack of fast travel. The world design was well made and I never felt like I had to run too long and even I had to run longer trip, there was always something there. World is rich and full of stuff, logs and texts you find are short and sweet, name and loredropping is really well made.
Major gripes with the game is that stealthing is basically impossible in this game, violence is the only answer. RPG mechanics could have been deeper and sometimes enemy AI gave up the fight too easily. There could have been more things to craft, I was basically always fully stocked with crafting materials.
But if you like Fallout, Bioshock, Metro or STALKER, you should play Atomfall!
