This is a custom emoji request blog that is mainly centered around word emojis as an accessibility tool, but I also take commissions!

All my posts have image descriptions under them. Credit me if you can, no big deal if you can’t, just don’t trace/claim emojis as yours. My emojis are created for light mode, but feel free to reverse the color scheme of my word emojis to make them suitable for dark mode. I do not run a server for my emojis - if you see anything claiming to be an official server for my emojis, I didn’t condone it

Sorry for bugging you, this is not a emojis request but a questions about emoji requests. Do you do name emojis, just basic name emojis nothing fancy, as requests or would those be only for commisions?

I may have made a post about this, but I can’t find the post and I really don’t remember what I said, since it was about a year ago now…? Basic name word emojis are okay for requests, and fancier ones would be for commissions!

Also, feel free to send asks about this blog even while my requests and commissions are closed, those are a-okay because they take less spoons for me to do :)

I’m not currently taking requests, but I am working through a backlog of requests already sent. Also, I’ve been thinking about opening a few slots for requests each week, so that I can manage how much I have to do. What do you all think of this?

Should I open “slots” for symbol/wordmoji requests each week, instead of saying I am or am not taking requests in general?

Something weird and funny happened when I was drafting this last post for queerplatonic, sensual, and general attraction/relationships, where tumblr censored all the drafted images. I’m not sure why, I’m assuming the hands in the symbols confused the tumblr algorithm in charge of automatic censoring, but I think it’s kind of funny

Yes I can! I chose to represent relationships with two clasped hands, and attraction with two hands with a colorful blob between them, but of course attraction and relationships come in all sorts of ways :)

it'd make it a little easier for me if you could give all of your emoji/aac symbol posts a certain tag so i can filter more easily, but i know you'd have a Lot of posts to tag so i can always just filter by your already existing tags instead and do it in multiple passes lol

That’s alright with me! I don’t have a tag for all my non-symbol posts unfortunately, and there are some symbols mixed in with non-symbol posts, but you can find most of them under these tags:

  • #body & brain emojis
  • concept emojis
  • person emojis

I don’t think I have any symbol posts that aren’t tagged with at least one of these, so filtering for those should catch most of them!
