A group of Wikipedia editors have formed WikiProject AI Cleanup, “a collaboration to combat the increasing problem of unsourced, poorly-written AI-generated content on Wikipedia.”
“A few of us had noticed the prevalence of unnatural writing that showed clear signs of being AI-generated, and we managed to replicate similar ‘styles’ using ChatGPT,” Ilyas Lebleu, a founding member of WikiProject AI Cleanup, told me in an email. “Discovering some common AI catchphrases allowed us to quickly spot some of the most egregious examples of generated articles, which we quickly wanted to formalize into an organized project to compile our findings and techniques.”
Dudes healthcare is so fake. My ADHD meds are $940 without insurance. But they gave me a website of “coupons” which straight up looks like a scam website, and I got it today for $60! Just a coupon from a random website and it was $900 cheaper. America, I am confusion!! America explain!!

as a pharmacy technician i can share with you some websites that give you those “coupons” for your meds!
goodrx is the most well known one, but if i’m trying to find the cheapest price for a patient i compare it to scriptcycle, and use whichever is offering the best price. you just type in the medication (PLEASE make sure you’re getting the right drug, dosage, and quantity) and your zip code and they will spit out some offers for you
some pharmacies may have their own discount card to compare to as well!
if you are getting a name brand medication, you can also look at the manufacturer’s website to see if they offer any evouchers for you to use too

Manufacturer’s evouchers are GODSENDS for new drugs that haven’t gotten many coupon offers yet! They’re also fantastic for injectables, when I was a pharmacy technician in 2019-20, the injectable prescriptions that had to be kept refrigerated didn’t have nearly as many codes available through goodRx and such.
hey boy don’t kill yourself. green’s dictionary of slang is available online and allows you to explore 500 years of english vulgarity. you can search by part of speech, source, time period, etymology, and usage. there’s a whole category for gay slang. they even have specific citations listed so you can see the exact context for yourself. boy did you know that in 1927 “to kneel at the altar” was slang for “to sodomize”

Also a lot of early 20th century vulgarity is recorded in Letter from My Father, which is a collection of letters published by a man who’s dad was, in short, a major slut and human disaster who wrote about his sex life for his son. It’s insane. You can find copies of it online & it’s a wild fucking read (literally!) and I think a really interesting look at the life of a person who goes against our stereotypes of what people in the past were “supposed” to be like.

According to the company’s website, “Baking Pitchfest 2024” offers a product edition geared toward baking brands founded and owned by people of color across the U.S., and a bakery edition, which focuses on people of color-owned bakeries in the Northeast and Washington state.
“Half mentorship, half competition, Baking Pitchfest is an accelerator program designed to foster greater inclusivity and creativity in the baking world by providing equitable opportunities for People of Color entrepreneurs,” the website states, adding that winners will receive financial support, mentorship, and exposure.
But the initiative has generated outrage amongst conservatives online, who have blasted the competition eligibility rules as discriminatory against white people.
One X user critical of King Arthur Baking’s contest posted an email she received from the company in response to her complaining.
“Helping build joyful, equitable communities that celebrate diversity is an important part of who we are as a company,” the email states, later adding: “We love baking with anyone and everyone. Our simple expectation is that everyone show respect for one another.”
Time to buy more King Arthur Flour!
