Okay so Tyler was in all black tonight, so has Clancy turned into a bishop? Has he become a bishop repeating the cycle? Clancy /the album/ has been so heavy thematically about repeating cycles and the newest Torchbearer letter sounds like he is begging Clancy to not become one of them

I think the new Clancy lore means that we will get dark!clancy soon. I think after Paladin Strait Clancy absorbs Nico cause he can't defeat him. Coancy was able to destroy the bishops but not Nico. Nico knew about Clancy's surprise attack (probably trough the vultures we can also hear in vignette)
So since Clancy can’t defeat Nico he prob absorbs him and loses himself in the darkness that Nico is.
Though Torchie is there to remind Clancy, to get him back on track, to tell him what they went trough, what they learned and experienced. He guides Clancy back to seal Nico away deep inside him, and to do better for dema. They have to do better. To break the cycle
Putting Tyler’s new shirt into context I really think next album will be about Clancy falling into darkness and "forgetting“
Like we see Clancy mask blurred here. I think this means that blurryface has been triggered to take over Clancy (the all black fit and paint also kinda supports that imo).
The second looks like a bunny. It could be a reference to the line "death inspires me like a dog inspires a rabbit"
Or it could be a ned in chlorine. I looked that scene up in the mv and the lyric there says "I'm so sorry, I forgot about you"
Though i don't think its a coincidence that it kinda looks like both. I think this means Clancy is falling into darkness, forgetting everything even Torchie and wishing to run away bc of fear, wishing for death
I think Nico is what triggers this. He has his hands wrapped around Clancy's throat in Paladin Strait and maybe Clancy absorbs him since he cant fight him. And the absorption causes blurryface to take over and Clancy to get "poisoned" by the darkness
So Torchie will find a way again to reach for Clancy and to guide him back to finally break the cycle
6schoolsin6yearswild prediction on the off chance it happens. what if this leg we get response letters from clancy so it forms a conversation of sorts, or AT LEAST ones from torchbearer that are responding to something even if we never see the direct clancy letter. or even ones responding to his journal/letters from trench-sai
