While I’m between work, I decided to open up a kofi account: https://ko-fi.com/bobokitty. I’ve even decided to do a little deal to go with it. [No longer between work but decided to keep this open]
$5 gets you a 15 minute sketch from me. No NSFW art (not allowed on kofi and honestly I wouldn’t be using any refs so you’d get something weird) and no real people (I don’t like drawing that unless it’s for studies).
$20 gets you a 1 hour sketch.
$1 gets you a timed 3 minute sketch. It will be very rough and probably very silly. You have been warned.
Basically every dollar gets you 3 minutes of sketch time. This is as close to commissions as I’m going to get. I don’t like the weird pressure of those…

After all these years, I finally registered what I need to do in order to draw Transformer characters: redesign them in a way that makes sense for my brain. I believe everyone else has already figured this out long ago for themselves LOL.
Sometimes it takes my brain years to grasp a simple concept lol
Anywho, poked around with Bumblebee to see if I would work anything out. I think my design could be refined more, but eyy, it’s a start!
I spent the past month or so rereading the IDW Transformers comics (specifically the 2005-2018 run), which left me with a lot of emotions. The comics were what got me into Transformers. Before then, I knew stuff from culture osmosis and the Michael Bay films. Needless to say, the IDW comics opened my eyes to what the franchise could be and I’ve been hooked ever since.
That said, outside of these comics, I’ve only ready a few issues of IDW2 and um, that’s it. SO! Transformers fandom! I ask of you, what Transformers comics should I read next?! Idk, maybe I’ll live blog it or something; depends if I feel strongly enough to ahaha (I sure did have posts back in the days on my IDW reactions so y'know…)
Today’s lesson was a difficult one; the materials were pretty hard to work with.
