Hey there everyone, there’s no easy way to say this - I found out last month that I have advanced cancer. I’m recovering from a full hysterectomy and also undergoing chemo/radiation treatment. This all came as a huge shock to me as I’ve never had any major health issues before now. I don’t know what the future will hold or when I’ll get back to writing, but I wanted to let all of my readers know how much I appreciate every one of you. Please keep me in your thoughts and hopefully by the summer I’ll be stronger and back on my feet.  :)

A bit late, I know, but I’m feeling much better today and wanted to post some positivity with all the craziness going on in the world right now. 

I’m grateful for:

Being alive.

My mother - without her I don’t know what I’d do right now.

My job and my coworkers.

My friends.

My readers and followers on this crazy Inspector Gadget obsession of mine.^^

All of the new people I’ve met on Tumblr.

Being able to have a cup of coffee in the morning.

My mom’s cats, who despite being mostly people-hating have decided to make camp in my bedroom while I recover from surgery.^^

Hey everyone! I’m at home healing and resting after major surgery and I just wanted to wish everyone out there a safe and relaxing holiday! Whether or not you celebrate Thanksgiving I hope you’re staying safe and warm, especially with this crazy weather we’re having!

I also wanted to give a big “thank you” to all my readers and followers - I’m still writing as it’s a nice distraction and I hope to get some more things posted with the holiday break coming up.

Hey guys, if you could send any positive vibes/prayers/thoughts my way that’d be appreciated. I had another CT scan a few days ago and I have a large cyst on my ovary, which explains the constant pain I’ve been having. I have another doctor’s appointment on Monday so wish me luck.  :(

I actually keep my Halloween decor up all through November since November is considered the month of the dead in a lot of cultures. I was raised Catholic and even though I’m not religious now that I’m grown I do love the idea of All Saints and All Souls’ Day. So for me Halloween kicks off an entire month of remembering the dead/spooky stuff.  :)

Or, I just want a reason to celebrate Halloween a while longer (that, and I’m not ready in any way for the Christmas madness to start!).
