Cannot overstate how cathartic it is to finally release this. Twas an absolute labour of love from everyone involved - one of the toughest, muddiest, most tiring shoots we've ever undergone as Big Tent.
I was in a rather obsessive Tarkovsky phase while making this so a lot of little moments and imagery were borrowed from his ouvre but with an attempt to transplant them into a style/genre more appropriate to the story.
Looking back, I'm still so proud of what we managed to achieve with relatively primitive equipment, skeleton crew and a questionable understanding of good on-set practices. I'm most proud of how cohesive and immersive the look and feel…
