I wanted to easily pick out my sewing thread and its matching bobbin, but it was hard to keep my threads standing in my storage box.

This is a quick design for a customizable sewing guide that uses two magnets embedded into the guide for holding it in place on your sewing machine. It can be used with cylinder and rectangle magnets of adjustable sizes. The size of the guide can be adjusted as well. I did not add code for checking correct sizing boundaries, so choose your values correctly ;) and check your design before using it. This is a horizontal holder for conical sewing thread spools. For its design I have used a Singer 518 machine as a reference. This is the machine I have. This model belongs to the 500 series which includes the models 518, 538, 514, 513 and 533. It is possible that all these models keep a similar design and it is possible to use the spool holder in all of them.
