Small Steps Toddlers - Minimal Effort, Minimum Mess Activities on Instagram: "I opened a package yesterday morning and there was bubble wrap inside. I was on my way to the bin when I realised the bubble wrap could make a fun toddler activity, so I stuck it to the window instead. It took 10 seconds of my time and that small action changed the way our morning was tracking, which had been frantic to say the least. My girls played with this for over 15 minutes. I was able to get ready for the day without the usual interruptions and the morning suddenly became so much calmer. Toddler activities don’t need to be complicated and they don’t need to take ages to set up, pack up and clean up! I will help you find more moments of toddler fun using everyday items around your house. 10K views · 330 reactions | THE COOLEST ART IDEA🙌 Save this to try! Kids were swarming to this activity so fast because it was so much fun and used two things they love! HAMMERS + BUBBLE WRAP! (It’s actually a mallet 😀… but a hammer would work too! Use what you have!)

This is so easy to set up and gets kid’s finger muscles working hard to build their fine motor skills too!

Have you ever tried painting with bubble wrap before? Or Hammers? If not, try it! It’s a guaranteed hit.

WHAT YOU NEED:
Mallet (or toy hammer)
Washable paint
Bubble wrap
Tape
Paper

HOW TO DO THIS:
1. Tape paper to a table (or cover an entire table with large white paper).
2. Squeeze on some washable paint.
3. Cover with bubble wrap and secure the edges with tape.
4. Start hammering or squishing & popping! There is Bubble Making Activity, How To Blow A Bubble Writing Activity, Bubble Wrap Art Preschool, Making Bubbles Activity, Bubble Wrap Activities For Toddlers, Bubble Wrap Crafts, Bubble Wrap Art, Bubble Activities, Bubble Paper

Jordan | Occupational Therapist | Baby & Toddler Play on Instagram: "Next time you get bubble wrap in a package… SAVE it!!! Bubble wrap runway/road is magical. Trust me on this one. It’s simple, inexpensive ( if not free!), and it promotes development. Kids love this. Bubble wrap provides a unique kind of auditory, tactile, and proprioceptive input. Let your child use their fingers to pop it- great for hand strengthening and fine motor skills! Encourage them to jump, stomp or do silly animal walks (bear crawl, crab walk) down the bubble wrap- this provides proprioceptive feedback and promotes gross motor skills! Use all the fun toy cars or even toy animals to walk or race down the road. The possibilities are endless. Save this for later and send to a friend! ❤️ @teachersloveha Bubble Wrap Games, Bubble Wrap Activities, Animal Walks, Proprioceptive Input, Hand Strengthening, Toddler Lessons, Bear Crawl, Lesson Plans For Toddlers, Send To A Friend
