Nikki Elsasser on Instagram: "Calming areas are great because they give children the space to practice regulating big emotions. This is an invaluable skill they will take with them for the rest of their lives! I like the idea of having a calming kit basket because it allows you to either designate a calming space or the child can take the kit to a safe space at their choosing. I think everyone should have a calming basket for the kids in their life so you can GRAB THIS FREE KIT at: blog.graceovergrades.com/calming-corner-free-printables/ #socialemotionallearning #emotionalintelligence #calmdown #calmdowncorner #classroomideas #teachingideas #teachersofig #teachergram #graceovergrades #iteachtoo #teacherssupportingteachers #teacherlife #teacherlife #teacherfriends #elementaryteachers #i Calm Down Corner Classroom Upper Elementary, Daycare Calming Corner, Health Corner Classroom Ideas, Student Work Organization Ideas, Pre K Cozy Corner, Learning Corners Preschool Classroom, Emotions Corner Preschool, Calm Down Cart, Classroom Relaxation Corner

A few dots of hot glue on the back of each tile did the trick! 💪Kids have pushed, punched, pressed, kicked them, and they haven’t budged. 🧘‍♀️Sensory tiles offer children the chance to engage in heavy work, allowing them to fulfill their body’s need for sensory input to release frustration or pent-up energy, while also adding beautiful color to your space! 🤑I just saw there is a Prime Day sale (7/16)!
