taking this three and a half by five piece of wood from Dollar
Tree sanding it down and then painting it with linen color
chalk paint and that's by faux cart. I covered the back and
sides and a little bit of the front just like a border. Once
that's done, I take the scrapbook paper that I got from
Hobby Lobby and place down the piece of wood and trace that
out and cut it I then apply a generous layer
of Mod Podge to the unfinished side of the wood. Place down
the scrapbook paper and smooth it out with my hands. I used my heating tool to dry
that layer and then I added another layer of Mod Podge on
top of the paper and dried that as well. Creating Through Chaos and today we're going to start this
project off using this piece of wood that I got at Dollar Tree.
And I'm going to paint the whole thing with the colour
evergreen. I did the front, the back and the sides. And I just
did one quick coat. Once I have that all coated and it is dry,
I am going to take my sander and sand off all of the edges. Gonna make sure I get some of
that plain wood to come back through. Once that was all sanded I am
going to take my antique wax and I'm going to wax around at
the edges and I kind of went in a little bit towards the center Once that was all done I'm
