I'm currently sewing an Edwardian lace lingerie dress and I made this Edwardian princess slip with lace inserts to wear underneath.

Nany is talking about her 1900s blouse, that is based on an example from “La Mode Illustrée” of 25 October 1908. All the sewing techniques used within this blouse are taken from an extant book, which makes this garment very close to an original blouse from that era. Nany only needs to add some closures and decorative buttons. Other than that, this blouse is finished and only waits to be worn.

My new Edwardian inspired outfit consists of a Truly Victorian Edwardian walking skirt and a lacy shirtwaist Beatrix blouse by Sensibility patterns.

I am currently in the process of making two new outfits for events that We Wear History will be attending in July. I don't think I have ever tackled two projects at once as it tends to stress me out, but I am waiting for items that I ordered a while ago for a 1920s basketball outfit to get here and can't go any further until they do, so have switched to the other project until those items arrive.
