Costume concepts for Alina, the Sun Summoner in the show Shadow and Bone Costume design Our key task was to help Wendy Partridge (the costume designer) with providing detailed concepts that showcase her vision for the key costumes. This listing is for the embroidered lace appliqués needed to embellish your own durast kefta as worn by David Kostyk on Shadow and Bone. Your appliqués will be embroidered in your choice of a satin stitch or a fill stitch. A satin stitch is more three dimensional, has a more lustrous finish, but is far more fragile and prone to fraying. I recommend hand stitching or glueing satin stitch appliqués.
