GRADED MOVEMENT- the ability to judge the amount of force needed to do a gross motor task

PUT IN CONCEPT- babies start to put things in containers around 1 year but they learn precursor skills the whole first year. Babies will put things in a container and not let go around 8 months.

VISUAL DEVELOPMENT- babies start to see bright colors around 4 months. They are learning depth perception and seeing further away. Play with bright colors! 

REACHING ON TUMMY- important for weight shifting to progress with gross motor development. Babies have to weight shift to roll, crawl, walk, etc!
