Michelle | Macrame Trainer & Creator on Instagram: "This reel is a play on the Chinese crown knot tutorial I shared the other day. This time the crown knot is tied horizontally & repeated to form a column

It’s commonly used in plant hangers 🌱

How to create a Chinese crown knot sennit:

1. Start with a multiple of 4 strands hanging down. For this reel I secured the cords with Lark’s Head knots, but draping them through a wooden ring or over a dowel works just as well (if not better)
2. Take the 1st cord and cross it behind the next cord to the right, making the shape of a “4.”
3. Then bring the 2nd cord out and cross it behind the next cord to the right.
4. Take the 3rd cord and cross it behind the next cord to the right.
5. Finally, take the 4th cord and thread it through the loop crea Chinese Crown, Crown Knot, Knot Tutorial, Knots Tutorial, Plant Hangers, Wooden Ring, Wooden Rings, The Loop, 3 Things
