This shallow handmade jar was made with a white stoneware clay. It’s great for jewelry, sewing/knitting notions, small knick-knacks, etc. This piece was thrown on the potter's wheel, carefully trimmed, and brush glazed by hand in multiple layers before being fired again for about 12 hours. The bowl of the jar is off-white in color with brown speckles and gray crystals.
