Christina on Instagram: "One of my favorite things to do is change the finish on a sconce, picture frame, mirror, knob….or anything that doesn’t move. Rub n buff gold leaf is what I used on this sconce, and the dark oil rubbed bronze was the perfect base to allow little bits of darkness to show through the gold and give it depth. When I use the gold, I’ll often spray paint my project dark brown first for this reason. What do you think of it “after?”
