Quicksilver & The Scarlet Witch - 1960's I grounded her costume in her Romani heritage while still keeping the look of the original. I wanted her costume to have flare, to be bold and dramatic which I think works for her given she was really into the theater in her early years. In the 60s, she was sometimes drawn with a sort of belt/corset design but not always. So when figuring out how to adapt that, instead of a corset/belt, I decided to make it a sash.
