D&D character. Zez - a sentient but unplayable elemental race, they stand 1,5-3 m. They are made of fungi, but take a roughly humanoid form. They are not considered one of the "civilized" races as they have no society or government but they are capable of simple speech and concepts. Their bodies are a collection of large and small fungi and tuber forms of varying colors.

It’s Monday night. I’m preparing for this week’s Dungeons and Dragons session located in my homegrown world of Aelonis. This particular campaign is based on Wizard of the Coast’s menacing adventure module, Tomb of Annihilation, and the PCs are currently on their way to my world’s equivalent to Port Nyanzaru, the great emerald city of Syroli.
