There was one autumn before Brawny went to college that he worked at a haunted house for the Nightmare Night season. On one particular night, many unwitting passerbys didn’t even notice the mourning doll by the headstone - only to receive quite the fright shortly after. But the best reaction came when a trio of senior citizens tested the house’s special effects. After all, it looked so real.
Brawny had a little bit of a scare himself in the moments between his reveal and Granny Smith waking back up.
The curse is over. Thank God nothing like that is ever going to happen again. Now Brawny needs to find one ice pack for his head and one to heal the @princessheatherblossom betrayal.
Actions have consequences. Especially if it’s a fandom-frustration-plus-PTSD-fueled rage bender across Equestria. Perhaps moon banishment would’ve been a better outcome?
Brawny spent most of his life recognizing the authority of only Princess Celestia. While generally resistant to change, he was willing to make an exception when Princess Luna returned from the moon, given the history of the situation. But shortly thereafter was an influx of alicorns and princesses appearing from seemingly nowhere. And Brawny found this quite vexing. However, the cohosts of his radio show find his attitude equally vexing.
I always thought this was a funny moment from one of the Brony Debates. So I decided to make it into a strip.
Brawny needs to get better about letting his guard down during an active confrontation. Especially with @eliyora. But @supergeekie and @princessheatherblossom definitely share the blame for putting her up to it.
I finally had some time to get to some of the questions in my box that have been sitting there for months. There’s more still. Those will be coming soon.
Things are very busy for me. Normally, I like that. But it’s been different the past few years really. It’s all been tedious stuff that gets me nowhere and makes it very difficult to produce. I don’t like that. Every week I look forward to making comics and videos and every week something needs to get fixed.
I think I’ve finally got things to a point where I can start working on my content more consistently. It’ll probably still take a while to get things done as I’m mostly working on my own. But it’s a step in the right direction. I’m not going anywhere until I’m finished.
Recently, @princessheatherblossom had to say goodbye to her beloved cat, Knife. She’s been left with some hefty vet bills in Knife’s wake and could really use your help in the same way that many of you have helped me when I needed to escape New York. Here’s a gofundme link if you’re willing and able to help. Even sharing to those who might be able to help is greatly appreciated. I’ll find a way to pay back the favor if you ask.
