can i just say that i really love how you decided to write your hockey cassian story partly because of the inaccuracies often found in hockey romance stories
like i was in the middle of reading a different hockey story that i was really into and then all of a sudden the author starts describing the game as if it’s soccer and it just completely took me out of it
and i LOVE hockey so that made me so hesitant to pick a new hockey romance up. but i love that you’re also a huge hockey fan so it just makes sense why your story hits so good

I love hockey. And I love romance novels. So everyone is always like, oh, Caty, I bet you love hockey romances, and it’s like WRONG! Every time I have to read about his new girlfriend sitting along the glass. Or a college captain being undrafted??? Or the girl sneaking down to the locker room IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GAME 🫠
Like be so serious…. One time, I even went to a book convention with my best friend, and she pointed out an author who had a hockey romance on her table, and I went over all excited like “oh, are you a hockey fan too?” and this author looks me dead in the face and said “I’ve actually only seen 2 games just to help me write this but hockey romances are big right now” 💀
And it all just fuels me! Fuels me to make Hockey Cassian as accurate as I can! And at times, fuels me to call out and get a bit meta within the story lol
But thank you! 🥰 I’m glad that you’re enjoying Hockey Cassian! He’s so fun to write, and I’m excited to continue writing him while watching my Carolina Hurricanes in the playoffs
So this is where I describe to the viewing public my very rare but actually not rare because a lot of ya’ll bitches have it condition. I have fought against this affliction for a long time.
It’s where I sit down to write Nesta with literally anyone else. I map out the whole story. I have it ready to go. I am in the process of writing it.
And then.
I hear this IRRITATING SOUND.
And it is Cassian just sitting in the corner LOOKING AT ME LIKE 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
And I say no Cassian you are on time out for your crimes in canon and you have lost access to Nesta’s hot ass self ACTUALLY.

Okay but wouldn’t it be funny if Nesta started writing Fantasy Human Romance thats 99% breeding kink?
Average fae female discovers her Secret Past and finds out she’s half human and can have 15 kids? Etc etc
Or the genre already exists but it gets all the human parts wrong and has characters dying from tripping or having kids till age 70 bc they forgot how humans age.
Aspiring fae author doing research in Day and having to look up menopause being like “that cant be true”
