19TH C. ANTIQUE CAST IRON COBBLERS ANVIL AND MULTIPLE IRON FORMS LOT | eBay

COLLECTION OF 19TH CENTURY CAST IRON COBBLERS TOOLS - ANVIL / FORMS. This set has 3 anvils with forms along with three smaller forms. One is made by Cauldwell & Gray of NY and another by Enterprise MFG CO of Philadelphia.

Vintage cast iron sad (solid) iron with an amazing dark patina and lots of character. The lettering on the top of the iron is difficult to read - I think the first letter is "H" and I can make out "H & CO 7". The "7" should be the weight, but on my scale, it is 6 pounds, 7 ounces, so maybe that was close enough back in the day. Vintage Sad Iron - Amazing Rustic Character

Vintage cast iron sad (solid) iron with an amazing dark patina and lots of character.
