This nice brown USA stoneware shoulder bowl is an older one and has "USA 9 IN" on the bottom. This is ribbed around the crock bowl. These old mixing bowls were made in different sizes, the "shoulder" is to make the stacking easier. These were made by various American potteries for use in the kitchen.
