But first things first: paint. It was a bit controversial, but I really went for something different in here and did a dark, moody blue on EVERYTHING. The color is Behr Blue Metal that I got at Home Depot. It was quite the undertaking (especially all the trim work), but I love how it turned out and how cozy and inviting it feels. Green is on trend, but classic blue gray won the day. I must have gone through a hundred paint chips, before finding Dusk Blue by Behr at a Home Depot. Behr paint is pretty good quality, but it has some cons to it: - It’s extra thick… not always a good thing when painting. - Many say you’ll want to repaint after 3 years or so. - It’s not as durable or mildew and mold resistant. Our painter wouldn’t work with Behr products. THE DETAILS: ____________ 1.
