With Easter right around the corner, this Easter themed bin was a no brainer! I used rainbow rice that I made (you can find instructions on how to make your own here or just purchase your own here). I threw in color coordinated pom poms and Easter eggs and let Brody have fun scooping the rice and matching colors! I love all the open ended play that sensory bins provide.

Easter sensory bin I died green rice in 2 different shades of green. Then I colored dried chick peas different colors. I added egg crates with plastic eggs hot glued in so the children color sort chick peas. I used acrylic paint to color rice and chick peas. It's a brighter color and it last longer.
