This right here my friends is a FSSP Seminary full of young men in prayer to prepare for their vocation while participating in ancient Christian Chant known as Gregorian Chant during the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite (aka the Tridentine Rite or Latin Mass). Many young Catholics, including myself, love the richness, reverence, beauty, and history of the Tridentine rite as it roots back to the early Church. Gregorian chant: not just for academics or the "cultural elite" as a "museum piece." This is OUR music; it belongs in and to the Catholic Church! In terms of "cultural relevance" in the Mass, the main question is "relative to WHAT and to WHOM"? And while beautiful, chant is not "just for nice."
