Kate Hewitt on Instagram: "IKEA BILLY BOOKCASE & IVAR HACK ✨ Transformed my snug with this IKEA Billy bookcase and Ivar cabinets STEPS 1) Build your Billy bookcases and ivar cabinets. 2) Paint the shelves and backs of the Billy bookcase, leaving the frame also paint the tops and doors of the Ivar cabinets 3) Construct a frame (see stories for how too) 4) Secure the ivar cabinets onto the base, leaving your desired gap between cabinets, and anchor with screws. 5) Place the Billy bookcases on top and secure them to the ivar. 6) Customise shelf placement to your liking. 7) Attach batons to the sides of the ivar cabinets and bookcases. I made sure I left a gap 3mm from@the front of cabinet. This is to make sure the mdf sits flush 8) Cut 3mm MDF the width and length of the gaps and stack Ikea Ivar Living Room Wall Cabinets, Ikea Hack Bookcase, Bookcase Door Diy, Ikea Ivar Shelves, Billy Bookcase With Doors, Shelf Placement, Billy Hack, Ikea Billy Hack, Ikea Home Office
