This week our theme letter is A. We been learning about apples and continued that theme this week. But we also did some other things. We brainstormed all the things we could think of that start with Aa. We sorted Aa words from the Mm words we learned last week. We also learned about alligators this week since our zoo phonics character for Aa is Ally Alligator. Maybe walking BEHIND our friends will be a little easier now. 🤪 This really is one of the best anchor charts for the beginning of the year. I have all the kids demonstrate the words with a cup and bear. One lucky kinder per word gets to put the sticker on the chart. Forced relaxation. It’s summer vacation! Summer is a time to rest, relax and rejuvenate. For me summertime means spending time at home with my daughter and husband.
