NO and here’s why ⬇️ Why do I need the chalk paint? When you first add the joint compound it does look so cool; but after the joint compound dries it has a yellowish tint. You do not want this look because the chalk paint step and simple and goes quickly. Why should I use Chalk Paint? Chalk paint will give your wall a clean, vintage look, rather than a glossy look if you’d choose regular paint. Can’t I just use regular paint? Chalk paint has a thicker consistency than paint does; so it applies on surfaces in bulkier layers and is less prone to drip. What color did you use?
