Finally finished, a year after starting. Removed polystyrene tiles, lath & plaster ceiling, replaced with plasterboard, several coats of white emulsion paint. Removed leaking plaster wall underneath window back to brick, lime render rebuild & skim. Stripped wallpaper, replaced picture & dado rail, added coving, ceiling rose, glossed picture rail, dado rail, skirting boards. Removed carpet, stripped floorboards, replaced broken boards & stained, 2 coats of restoring oil. Wallpapered.
