A delicate monster from an extraterrestrial reef. Its patterned tentacles look extremely hypnotizing under the candle fire. Is it an anemone? is it a type of squid? maybe a type of jellyfish? or everything together? where are its eyes located? I still don't know, but I can observe it for hours. One piece, ready to ship. Made with B17C stoneware clay. Handpainted with cobalt blue and red iron oxide tinted slips. Bisque and glaze fired in an electric kiln at cone 6 (approximately 1260oC)…
