Dearest night creatures, thank you for spending this long night with us! The dawn is nearing soon.

As we wrap up the project, we want to extend our warmest thanks to you for all your support. You have brought warmth to our chilly hearts, and we hope you have been enthralled by the fang-tastical works our contributors created. We are all so grateful to have had the chance to share our love of vampire lore, history, and cultures with our fellow fanged ones.

Today, February 28th, will be the LAST DAY to purchase the PDF over at vampirezine.bigcartel.com.

This is your last chance to get your copy, and it won’t be returning, unlike our vampire brethren. We will be keeping an eye out for any emails or issues, but the project will be closing shortly after the close of the store.

Their eyeliner is as sharp as their teeth and tongue, and they effortlessly turn every head when they walk into the room thanks to their immortal beauty, despite looking like they commit murders nightly in dark alleyways. (They do.)

I wrote this story for @carpenoctemzine, an anthology that features fiction, art, and comics depicting vampires through the ages. The creators put meticulous care and research into these stories and illustrations, and their fascination with the darker side of history reveals itself on every page.
