To heal and explore the parts of myself I thought were once “pointless.” I always viewed my inability to settle on one skill set or profession as some sort of personal defect. I saw my creativity as almost a hindrance to my success in life. If I could just sit and focus on the work that needed to happen, choose a “normal” career path, THEN I would be successful. What a shame, but it’s not all for naught. You see, I can do differently by them. I’ll do my best to ensure they always see their full range of skills and interests as the very thing that makes them unique. And if they should struggle to choose one solo career path, I will assure them that there’s nothing wrong with choosing many over the course of their lifetime. That there’s nothing wrong with them. And I’ll do my best to help them see the magic in the simple things. Because it’s all interconnected - how we view life and how we choose to spend it. And because, after all, this life is far too wild and precious to not marvel in the everyday miracles. ❤️ For this super simple rainbow ice garland I just mixed a bit of natural food coloring in muffin tins and froze weigh a string of twine in them. A fun craft for these cold winter days ❄️🌈🧦🛷 | Northwoods Folk
