Using a clay slab, students created a beautiful ceramic bird feeder with a leaf-inspired design. This project was easily crafted by drawing a simple leaf shape onto the slab and adding texture for a natural look. These adorable clay aquariums and terrariums have been a welcome change to my 3rd grade clay curriculum - everyone really loves them! This lesson was inspired by a post at johnpost.us - a cute clay fishbowl.
