en we first moved into our home I knew that these brown doors couldn’t stay long. Something about the hollow 70's look just wasn’t giving me the right vibes. We opted for a little easy DIY door moulding.

The boring, flat panel interior doors were really dating our home. However, I didn't want to spend the money to replace them all. So, we decided to use plywood to give them the effect of molding. Cut 1/4" plywood into strips. You'll have to do math to determine the size that you want the boxes to be on each door. Check your math 3 times because we sure did mess it up! Draw a diagram for best results, and then tape the design onto the door to be sure.
