Explorer concept art

Hello Guys, this is my submission for the Artstation character design challenge: Medieval Back and Forth. No AI, No 3D nor photobash, all painted. This is the first part of Chasm, my graduation project done at Artside Game Art School. We had to think about concepts based arround a game pitch, mine is about a city of explorer's living arround a huge chasm full of mysteries. Let's start with Silas our main character, and his master Ethel, two Chasm explorer's. But also Almira, a merchant from an ancient civilisation living into the Chasm. Some quick explorations based on the last character I did. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/B1zGO4 They are supposed to exist during the end of their world's Bronze Age. While bronze is still widely used, iron is slowly starting to replace it, while gold is the metal of choice for accessories.
