This is a Filipino-style beef steak that you will absolutely love! Made of thinly sliced beef cooked in a flavorful and citrusy sauce with soy sauce and calamansi then topped with lots of fresh onion rings.

Bistek is a staple Filipino dish where tender cuts of beef are simmered in a flavorful marinade of soy sauce and calamansi juice. Topped with thick slices of onion rings and with a side of rice, you will absolutely love the simplicity of this dish!

I am posting this here so I don't lose it! This is the first time I got this right - at least the way my MIL and her family makes it. (Note the measurements are still altered by taste: too sour, more soysauce; too salty, more calamansi juice).
