With all of the stitches to get in detail wise, patches can take quite some time, but it's well worth it in the end! FUN FACT: Highland cows were originally mostly black in colour. This Highland cow portrait was commissioned by my late mother-in-law, Steph, before she passed away. It looks strong, independant, and stoic, weathering harsh conditions.
