Small town square

Füssen is the ending point on Germany's Romantic Road. This picturesque town has colourful architecture and charming old town squares.

Leavenworth is a small resort town on the west slope of the Cascade Mountains that has turned itself into a little bit of Bavaria in the northwestern United States. The town is on highway U.S. 2, approximately 130 miles east of Seattle. The transformation of the town into a Bavarian village began as a controversial idea for revitalizing the town's struggling economy. At that they have wildly succeeded.
